rebuild & revolt
This was the found art that started our wheels turning and inspired this section of our blog. I call it found art because the definition of graffiti (as found in miriam webster) is: : to draw graffiti on : to deface with graffiti <graffitied walls>

Personally, while we don’t condone or encourage using the side of a semi trailer as a canvas, we think that pretty much anything drawn or painted on plain white corrugated metal is an improvement, and thus should be considered art.
The other thing that stuck out was the conceptual nature of the piece. The words “Rebuild and Revolt” with a skeletal angel reminiscent of a Dia de Los Muertos figure. Rebuild and Revolt seem like contradictory terms, but haven’t revolutions served as the building blocks for periods of rebuilding throughout history? More than anything, it was the combination of the skeleton angel, rebuild and revolt that made us slow down and take it all in.
In any case, we have dedicated this portion of our corner of the internet to all things inspirational, whether found, created, imagined, thought of or heard . Feel free to contribute, send anything that inspires you to shootfirst@idiominteractive.com so we can check it out and stay inspired!
