factiod:
• Over 20 pages of sketches and mock ups were ultimately generated in the early phases of the design process.
• All of the marks were hand drawn and the mid comps were created using both hand drawn and standard typefaces. The final branding mark was hand drawn and the typography was adapted using the Minion typeface as a springboard.

Branding Case Study
On any given branding we generate 50-100 hand drawn rough comps, refine the best of those to 6-14 mid comps, and then take the best of those and distill them down into 3-6 comps which we then present to the client.
This is of course after doing our due diligence and having in depth client meetings and interviews to establish the brand they want to represent, researching the clients industry and preparing detailed SWOT analysis.
Tara Hur was an interesting branding in that it became more defined and focused as we got further into the branding process. Originally the client wanted a brand created for a mid-high end clothing line that could easily represent multiple facets of the brand. As we got deeper into the branding process, the company decided to shift gears and focus mainly on swimwear, which changed our branding approach mid-stride.In the end we succeeded in not only creating a strong, focused brand, but achieved the original goals by defining design rules for when the company expands into other areas of fashion as well.
